Important Training
Tip:
Always be sure to stretch and warm up
properly before working out. It helps decrease injuries if done properly. You
can usually do basic stretches from most charts that show you the best
positions. Concentrate on such areas as hamstrings, ankles, deltoids, back,
neck, and biceps. Warm
ups can consist of jump rope and shadowboxing. After you do your gym work be
sure to warm down correctly. Never just stop after a hard training
session full of bags and mitt work. Shadowboxing is just as good to warm down as
it is to warm up. Do it lightly and precisely while you concentrate on "what" you were just
working on and wind dow n.
Until next time, keep your hands up, your
chin down, and stick & move!
